Listening guide
Listen, move, and guide the mix.
Every glowing point is a sound layer. Its distance from the listener changes how loudly you hear it while the stereo image remains centered. Some soundscapes also evolve with Current, the live mixing agent.
Move through the mix
Drag any sound point—or the listener labeled You—to create your own balance. Hover or focus a point or sidebar entry to reveal its match. Press Space or use the main control to play and pause.
Mix from the sidebar
Mute removes a sound group from the mix; Solo lets you hear it on its own. Use each level fader to shape the balance independently of distance. Groups with multiple layers can be expanded so each layer can be adjusted separately.
Read the sound field
A point’s brightness shows how strongly it reaches you, and its surrounding signal ring responds to the sound itself. A dotted signal outline identifies a sound drawn from a one-shot collection.
Randomize the arrangement
Randomize sends every sound and the listener smoothly toward a new arrangement. It changes the spatial mix without changing the sounds selected for the soundscape.
Freeze motion
While playing, Freeze motion holds the moving points in place without stopping the audio. You can still drag any sound or the listener to fine-tune the arrangement, then resume motion.
Set volume and motion speed
Overall volume controls the complete soundscape. Speed changes how quickly the points move; it does not speed up, slow down, or change the pitch of the audio.
Start an evolving mix
On dynamic soundscapes, start Current to build and evolve the mix. Brief Arriving, Adjusting, and Fading out cues appear together on the sound point and sidebar while a change is in progress. A compact announcement identifies the decision.
Give Current direction
Chat is shown first. Ask for an instrument, mood, energy level, or balance change. Direction separates enforced rules from creative preferences; removing either asks for confirmation, and inactive items can be restored later.
Follow what changed
Activity distinguishes sound additions, removals, adjustments, and new mix direction. The recent view stays compact; choose View earlier activity to open the longer, scrollable history.
Check the harmony
Current harmony summarizes the scale, mode, or compatible pitch set inferred from the sounds currently in the mix. It updates as Current changes the active material.
Headphones reveal the texture best. A sound’s position changes its volume rather than its left/right balance, so you can reshape the blend without chasing sounds across the stereo field.
